The MyFaceMyBody Awards celebrate innovation and excellence in the cosmetic industry – and they’re coming to Sydney this November!

The MyFaceMyBody Awards were launched in the UK in 2012 to celebrate the best in the cosmetic industry, as voted by consumers. Different awards include Cosmeceutical Range of the Year and Best Anti-Ageing Product or Treatment. There are also separate categories for practices/practitioners and industry media, including awards for Best Plastic Surgery Product or Device and Best Advertising Campaign by a Manufacturer or Supplier.

After a mammoth response at the London Awards, founder of MyFaceMyBody Stephen Handisides is bringing the awards to Australia, giving consumers a voice in voting on their favourite brands, products and services in the cosmetic market.

The awards culminate in a red carpet event attended by 300 leading industry professionals, brands, journalists and celebrities, to be held at the Hilton Sydney on Saturday, 28 November.

Leading up to the big night, a team of international judges – with exceptional experience in the industry – draw up the final shortlist for each category. Importantly, the awards are voted by the consumer, positioning MyFaceMyBody as the only consumer-driven awards in the aesthetic industry.

Bridging the gap between the aesthetic medicine market and mainstream beauty and fashion sectors is what MyFaceMyBody is all about. Handisides believes the awards will be a valuable addition to the ever-growing Australian aesthetic industry. ‘After the huge success of the UK awards, I wanted to bring the awards closer to home in Australia where the popularity of aesthetics and beauty is rocketing,’ explains Handisides, who was born in New Zealand. ‘The awards climax in an evening of exceptional glamour and celebrity, the likes of which the aesthetic industry rarely sees.
